The Society is the local chapter of the National Society and is dedicated to the needs of children in Lake County, Ohio. Some of the services provided are:

The membership of approximately 200 women contribute over 10,000 volunteer hours per year to the community.


The Projects and Activities are entirely operated by volunteer members of the local organization. Open to men and women of all creeds, the Society forms its members thru an approximately 12 month training period. All members are required to contribute 32 hours per year to projects of the Society. The society operates The Clothing Cottage, a site to purchase lightly used clothing at low cost. You are invited to come to the store to donate or to review the items for purchase. Located in the Painesville Commons Shopping Center the shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30AM to 4:30PM with extended hours at various times of the year.
